Old Woolshed Door . . .

………………… at Ayrburn Winery.

My daughter and son-in-law and I had a lovely visit to Ayrburn at lunchtime today - the 12th of March, when we like to remember my parents and husband, who all died on this date; my husband 6 years later than my parents.

It’s a long time ago now and we enjoy remembering, telling each other stories, and yarning about old times.
We had our lunch in The Woolshed, where my husband Brian once shore a few pet sheep for the then owner! It still has the original narrow floorboards.
My son-in-law chose the venison dish which we all shared, together with 2 salads. It was tender and delicious.

We went on to The BakeHouse for dessert - we had such a great time! Three desserts, and then a coffee each later, we were done.
