Top excitement of the day must have been buying tickets to see Tracey Thorn at the book festival. More irritating thing was buying tickets to see Tracey Thorn at the book festival. Only because I couldn't find an actual physical box office where you could just hand over £20 and walk away with two tickets. No, you have to stand outside the festival tents, leeching off their wifi (a plus) and do it online. Joy.

In other news, there was no other news. A nice wee ride into work and a slightly scarier ride with a bus on the way to the station. It was just the moment where you have to decide whether to stop, leap onto the pavement, go faster or be squished. Went faster. Twat had plainly seen me and was racing me round the corner. With his bus. Looked back and got the silent hands up big "WHAT?"
