Another busy morning for ma and Alex at the butterfly house. Sanded and painted the screens once more and recruited our first volunteer of the season.

On my way home, I stopped at Parklands as I’d seen that they had a new postbox topper.
It’s on the theme of an old nursery rhyme.

There was an old woman
Who lived in a shoe
She had so many children
She didn’t know what to do.
She gave them some broth
Without any bread
Then whipped them all soundly
And put them to bed!

You wouldn’t get away with that these days :))
