This flower does love the sun

The stem of this amaryllis is two and a half feet high and the only way to get a decent photo was to take the plant outside and hold it aloft with the flowers against the blue sky.
Anyone passing probably thought I was crazy and they were probably right!

A fine sunny day but it did feel chillier than yesterday and out of the sun it was really cold.
