Water and Words
The power of blip strikes again - thanks to PaulaJ for mentioning the Words on the Water Festival in Keswick, which I didn't know was happening - so today I went to hear a talk on Georgian Feminists by Rebecca Wilson (ok but I was expecting the unknowns, not Jane Austen) and an excellent talk by Sue Prideaux entitled Wild Thing: The Life of Paul Gauguin. The blip was taken from the well-known Friar's Crag, with the lake looking very moody in a splinter of sunshine before the heavens opened again.
