I had to check but the internet confirmed that the telly we bought just over a year ago didn't have a SCART socket, though I would still be able to feed video through the adaptor into the computer thence to the telly if I ever need to play anything on the VCR. I forgot to look up at what these were displaying once we'd had our breakfast.
