Spring Blossom
The plan was to head to Corstorphine, have coffee in the Dower House Cafe then check out the charity shops, as we very rarely see them. After that we would do our shopping.
It almost worked - Mr Flum dropped me near the park entrance to walk down to the cafe while he sought a parking place and joined me.
However, the car was miles away from the main street where the shops awaited my close attention and, although he offered to bring the car and drop me off nearer them, parking again, somehow catching up and possibly going to fetch it to collect me, I really couldn't justify the sheer faff of it all so gave up.
Near the car I noticed the Forsythia starting to bloom, it seemed quite early to me, though its south-facing situation may bring it forward.
We shopped at nearby Tesco as their fuel price was lower than we usually see, and the charity shop promise was fulfilled at the Cancer Research Outlet in the next block, where I found two interesting books and a nice leather handbag of a size 'just right' so we returned home well satisfied with the outing.
