Camper van preparations

There's no snow forecast between now and Saturday, when I drive south in the camper van, so I took the chance to take the cover of the van. This is what it looks like under the cover. The polystyrene blocks and short planks hold the weight of the snow off the hatches and the solar panel. This winter there's been so little snow I don't think it would have been a problem anyway, but in a "normal" winter it can get pretty heavy. Now the blocks and planks are all away for the "summer" season.
The picture is taken with a wide-angle lens so there's some distortion and the van looks a lot longer than it actually is! Really it's a record shot to remind me next autumn how to lay out the planks and blocks before the cover goes on.
Another job I did today, involving copying something I did last year, was filling in some tax forms using the ones I filled in last year as a template.
Film studio again this evening and we saw "Tatami", a sports thriller about Iranian women competing in a Judo world championship. It's remarkable as a film co-directed by an Israeli and an Iranian. I really found it gripping. The best review I found was in The Jerusalem Post!
