Went to upholstery and started work on buttoning the back. It wasn’t easy to get the needle through all the layers, make a slip knot and then pull everything really tight. It took me the whole class ( minus a coffee and hand rest break) to get it right.
Came home and did some more work in the garden. It was a bit chilly but I had lots of layers on! Came in and cooked my late lunch/early dinner and then made butternut squash soup ( I’d forgotten I’d bought the squash last week), tidied up and drove over to Bridge club. It the Carrington Cup night - the cup is for novice players only - less then 3years of playing. I started by making a complete mess of the first hand I played and felt that I didn’t really recover. However to my utter amazement I won! Had to have my photo taken again- grr!
Opened an email the next morning to say I was joint winner- they hadn’t noticed that someone else had got an identical score to me. All completely fine with me except i have to have my photo taken again!!!
