Bowden Loch…

…morning cycle attempt number one was thwarted by yet another thorny flat. I’m giving-up on these Panaracer Gravel Plus jobbies and returning to Marathon Plus tyres asap.

Attempt two on my road bike, this time avoiding the narrow hawthorn hedgey lanes, was much more succesful and I was up and over the Longlee/Bowden hump in no time. I rewarded myself with a posh coffee from the van outside Melrose Rugby Club before heading for home via Newtown and Clintmains.
