End of an era.

Nothing too dramatic; but I dropped my D80 yesterday and as a result I killed the 18-105 lens. Didn't realise until I tried to use it today.

Got this snap taken and then a little after a bit more zooming in or out; whatever was stuck gave up the ghost; and I now have a lump of metal rattling around the inside.

Farewell 18-105; you served me well.

So as I can't live without a lens in the range I've ordered a new one (plus a D7100 body to boot)
