Deceptive blossom

All very lovely and springlike, but on the way up the temperature dropped from 10 to 3 degrees and we were suddenly in the middle of a massive hailstorm. In the car, so not wet, just a bit anxious.
Lovely to see the grandchildren + J. Presents well-received. Flynn very very keen to visit Sri Lanka, see monkeys and eat hoppers. We had brought J a hopper pan, so he may be able to do the hopper-eating bit from the comfort of his own home..
