Another One Ticked Off The Bucket List

Tess has always wanted to fly long haul in style so , as part of her last year’s big birthday, we booked Business class for our Japan flights.

Here she is enjoying a welcome glass of champagne as we settled down for the long flight from Zurich to Tokyo. 

Earlier, we’d made the most of breakfast in the lounge at Heathrow before the short hop to Zurich, which was perhaps a mistake given that we got another one when we boarded the plane and were then plied with excellent food and drink at regular intervals from Zurich onwards. 

We certainly enjoyed the extra comfort and luxury, making long haul more bearable., but we’re still exhausted and bleary eyed on arrival!
