ENTROPY IN ACTION

It's DerelictWeek and today's submission is an old barn and shed that looks like a tornado hit it.  Well, it didn't.

In Physics 101 there's the concept of entropy......lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder.  It's a thermodynamic reference which basically relates to the need for constant input of energy to maintain homeostasis or, over time, Mother Nature takes over and the place is reclaimed.......the tendency toward entropic conditions unless energy is applied to maintain order.

This is just what happens when age and wind take its toll on man-made structures without constant upkeep.  You ever notice how messy your house can get unless you put in the energy necessary to keep it clean?  Seems to happen all on its own.  It's called entropy...and thus endeth the Physics lesson for the day.
