Last year, I emptied out several pots of bulbs that hadn't done at all well and dumped the contents into an old Belfast sink that's in front of our bow window, mainly as a way of reusing the compost. Since then, I've regularly been adding coffee grounds to the mix.
What a lovely surprise when this lot appeared!
