I was only gone for two minutes!!

I went out the door to take a bag to the bin. Came back and Ziggy started jumping and dancing around as if I'd been away for a month! I managed to catch him standing still.
If I put my boots on, e.g. to go to the school, he's all around me expecting me to take him too, which I can't as the school won't allow dogs even between the main gate and the gates to the school buildings.
I think he likes me!
