The Last Hurrah!

My brother and his wife came to visit today. We had booked a table at the Swan Inn at Aston Munslow. Fishy Thursday. 

Two plates of fish, chips and mushy peas, for £15. Great value, superb food, and excellent service from Ben, the owner.

But it didn't end there. We had beers and of course Fishy Thursday would not be complete without their Lemon Meringue special. With cream. And ice cream.

Yum!

The conversation centred around their recent trip to a game reserve in South Africa. It sounded exciting and the pictures were amazing. I enjoyed the chat and company very much. Mrs I was pleased and happy with the visit.
Happy days.

And after they had left for home I took Hollie for a late evening walk and to watch the dying embers of a spectacular sunset....
