MS Awareness Month

Orange is the colour for MS and this morning’s sky out the front of my house is a beautiful orange!

This is very appropriate as this was the sky as we were getting in the vehicle to leave and begin the drive to Raleigh to attend my 6 month appointment with my MS neurologist!!

My appointment resulted in a good report and we got things set up for me to begin a new disease modifying treatment. Once Kent retires, Medicare nor any of the supplemental insurance plans will pay for the Ocrevus I currently take. Fortunately they will pay for Kesimpta which is a monthly injection that is essentially the same medication. Oh the games we have to play!

After my appointment we kept the tradition going and went to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We brought the dessert home to have over the next couple of days.

I say this was a great day!
