Survival
We went to a state owned hunting area today for our walk. It is 2,200 acers and is largely undeveloped. There is streams running through it as well. We found an old home sight deep in the woods. All that remained was a concrete slab and some scattered foundation blocks. What caught our eye was so many daffodils growing around trees and in lines. I also found the homes trash dump. Many times you can find old bottles in these dumps but it is located in a very deep ravine. Farther along the path we came across this small game snare. I wondered if a homeless person might live deep in these woods and it made me a little uncomfortable. We headed home after our walk and made Sugar some Hoagy bones. We also made a large pot of vegetable crab soup for my mothers card party tomorrow. The chilly morning turned into a beautiful day. Hope yours was as well.
