Wonderful..!

A decision made before we were even up to get tickets for Les Misérables this afternoon. Our seats were in the back row of the Dress Circle and it said viewing was restricted but we went for it and it was perfect. Okay, high up but our view of the stage was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the show, and not for the first time either.

The theatre was full and the standing ovation was well deserved. Now the songs are ringing in my ears. It’s great to be singing some of these songs in our choir this term.

It was still light at 5.30 of course when we left the theatre and London had begun its Thursday evening and was full of life. It’s been a cold day though and we came straight home and have enjoyed an evening by the fire.

This morning I visited my friends at Bencurtis where Iris lived and got a lovely welcome. It’s their Craft morning. I finally returned the tea towels we’d used at Iris’s tea but know I don’t need a reason just to pop in.
