Mall Rats Beware . . .

You can tell the new Toronto Premium Outlet Mall just down the road from our place is upmarket. It's not just the shops: 80 crammed into pedestrianised streets in a faux urban setting - like a small town with the heart ripped out and replaced by designer labels . . .

Even the security guards drive around on Segway bikes/scooters/whatever. Wonder how they'd fare if a shoplifter was on the loose? But in Designerland, appearance - not function - is everything; nothing else matters . . .
