Headed down to Swansea after work to spend a couple of nights with my brother and sister-in-law. Planned to leave at 5 but ended up leaving at 7 - unexpected urgent assessment this afternoon then all the associated admin!!
Eventful journey - held up by RTA that must have happened just 10mins or so before me. Then road closure took me on a diversion along a mountain road in the southwest Brecon Beacons - not driven this road before but couldn’t appreciate the beauty of the landscape as it was very dark!! Just happy to have a safe journey with temp -2.5!
Finally arrived to a very warm welcome. They have 2 cats who love being fussed when they’re settled down for the evening. Blip of Woody looking very relaxed.
Grateful to be here to spend time with family.
