It’s unusual to see this lake as calm as this and I’m wondering if it’s because it’s so low at present.
You can probably see how much it’s dropped by the high water line.

I’ve spent a fair bit of the afternoon tuned into a video link my son H. sent from Dunedin of my oldest granddaughter’s graduation/capping. She’s now got a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Design. We’re all very proud of her dedication and achievement. Amazing.
