The moon when the leaves break forth

This months full moon (on Friday) is the March Storm Moon. Spring brings the radiant sight of the March full moon, which has been bestowed with various names around the world. These include: the ‘Sap Moon’, ‘Worm Moon’, ‘Chaste Moon’ (referring to the purity of early spring), ‘Crow Moon’, ‘Warming Moon’ and ‘Moon When the Leaves Break Forth’.

This last one is my favorite and a lovely clear night to admire the (almost) full moon.
