Puffin on Westray

I've seen a fair few puffins over the summer, but not close enough to photograph. So today I went to Westray and the Castle o' Burrian, which is one of the best places to see them in Orkney.
The 'castle' is a sea-stack near a cliff and was alive with puffins- several hundred. Quite a number were on the cliff too and very obliging. They are very hard to leave, but I eventually made my way along to Stanger Head then past The Boar, the Geo of Rustling Stones, Gentleman's Ha, and along to Weather Ness. I had my second coffee there, then continued past The Ship, The Steethes and to the Sands of Woo and the pier. More here.
