That really big one over there granny...
Today we took a day trip to 'The Queen of Welsh Resorts', Llandudno. We started our visit with a ride on the tram up to the top of the Great Orme . Opened on July 31st 1902, it's the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on British public roads. It was pleasantly warm at the top, and after a wander round to admire the views we played crazy golf before descending on the tram again.
The afternoon was spent at the West beach where Alice Liddell (of Alice in Wonderland fame) spent the long summer holidays of her childhood. The children had a lovely time playing on the beach, J recreating Llandudno and the Great Orme using sand and rocks, including the cable cars. My blip is J sending Granny off to get another rock for his creation.
