Sleet

We drove down from London early this morning and I spent the morning on the usual chores: washing, cooking, paying bills...  MrHCB has a new PC and I also spent a couple of hours setting it up for him.  It's not easy, things that I used to know how to do seem now to be done differently.

I mentioned that I watched a Camversation video earlier in the week about using vintage lenses, which reminded me that I used to enjoy playing with old lenses.  When I had some spare time I turned my camera drawer upside down and found an M42 to Canon R adapter and a couple of M42 lenses.  I then wandered round the garden (in the sleet - main) finding details on which to practice manual focusing (extra).  I'm sure I will get better and it's fun trying.  This lens was an old workhorse, a Takumar 55mm f/1.8.
