Through this to that . . .
Take note, it won’t stay like that for long.
Today was the first time that the Mokka has been through a car wash since the start of the pandemic. It’s had to make do with my occasional hose down and drip dry.
I was very pleased with the service, and the price. I asked for the ‘wash and dry’ which was £15, rather than the wash and go which was only £12. I have never seen so much attention in a hand carwash as paid to the car in front and thought he had opted for the wash and wax. No, I got the same treatment and was only charged £12. They got the £15 anyway.
Good day shopping too. M&S followed by Tesco. The only thing I could not get was Sainsburys’ ‘Stamford Street’ chips. That’s as disappointing as Sainsburys not having Tesco’s Finest Brandy.
The observant may notice the new ‘Heads Up Display’ GPS speedometer that I mentioned on Monday. It has been a great success, but I must do something about the speed alarms I set up – they’ve been driving me nuts . . . !!
Saturday and Rugby finals tomorrow. I won’t be doing much . . .
