Meeting

Look who I met on the top of Criffel! My friends Pauline and Brian. I’d only seen Pauline last night when we car shared to choir. We were both on tea duty; I thought I had done well to make a traybake but Pauline had brought a beautiful Victoria Sponge. We were taught some songs by the Heartwood Trio, who are on tour from the USA. www.heartwoodtrio.com/about

It was cold on the top of Criffel, but beautifully bright in the sunshine, and there was a wonderful view from the summit., over the Solway to the Lakes and across to the Isle of Man as well. What a lovely part of the world this is.

The dogs had a great time; Merry found lots of sticks :-) see extras…
