Beach time
I had to go over to Sheringham so had a little walk along the sea front. Not quite as cold as it's been but any walkers were well wrapped up. I always like this view along the beach especially when the tide is out, and if you look closely at the bottom left someone has arranged some stones quite artfully as a crab and an octopus.
In other news, it's been a hive of inactivity outside our house this afternoon. There's a small water leak next to one of the paths across the open land in front of our house and a few days ago a man from Anglian Water came and painted a blue cross on the ground next to it. A little before 2pm today a large Anglian Water van pulling a trailer with a digger, a small van and a pick-up truck all arrived. They sat there in their respective vans for about an hour looking at their phones, then the large van and the pick-up truck swapped over the trailer. Around 3.15pm the pick-up truck and the small van disappeared leaving the large van and two men in it, still looking at their phones. It's now gone 6pm and they're still sitting looking at their phones and as far as I can tell, no-one's looked at the water leak. Probably on overtime now. And we wonder why our water bills are so high. EDIT: OK, I take it all (well, most of it) back. An AA van has just turned up; they'd broken down!
