We walked at Sutton Heath this morning, starting and finishing in beautiful sunshine but during the walk it was quite chilly and overcast.    The conservation groups that oversee the heathland have brought in four (that we saw) cows to graze the heath to keep the vegetation in check.   It was great to see them and I would imagine with the vast area they have to graze we will be seeing them for a while yet.
