Liftoff

Lots of gulls, mallards and a few Canada geese on the ice this afternoon. All soaking up rays and enjoying growing sections of open water on the river. Unbelievably six ice fishing shacks were still visible upriver. If they’re not removed before warmer air and rain arrive next week, it will be “So Long, Shacks” • The nights are still chilly but another beautiful 50F day :) Birds were happily chirping in the trees. Not many visitors to the feeders until late in the day • Looking forward to March Madness next week. College basketball men’s and women’s brackets should be ready to print on Monday.
