Closed Flowers

These are the same plants that I photographed yesterday, using my iPhone with the Olloclip macro lens to blur them and give a water color impressionist effect. Today, straight up macro shot with my DSLR. I'm always amazed at the sensuous quality of plants, especially flowers, evoking life and death so powerfully.
