Ferry jam!

What entertainment at the slip today when the Hallaig tried to get the bus to board.
No joy. A lot of effort - very many onlookers paid by Calmac (check out in large!) on the Hallaig - and no joy. Bus on, bus off. Perhaps they were preparing for a modification.

I believe (and would be prepared to be corrected) that there is no fuel service on the island so traffic has to refuel on the mainland. I assume this antic is some kind of bus refuelling ritual...

I'm still learning.

It was all very calm and an blip op for very many as the photographer gathered at the scene. so I guessed it wasn't an every day event.

When the Loch Riddon arrived I was whisked on and off with no offer of chat...so I can't give you an explanation!

Had a fab day at the desk - got all of kinds of people booked in to me soon and have high hopes for good cross agency working.

I registered with the Health Centre and had a really lovely walk along the "front" - I walk about like Cheshire Cat....so chuffed and so happy. I am going to LOVE it here!

...and you will have heard the Nairobi news with Susan at that end poised and ready to leave soon. Typical. Last time she visited , there were riots and burning tyres. Is it her??
