affogato.......

another delicious supper in the lovely company of sweet J.

Tonight's meal - chicken, mango, green bean and noodle salad followed by my version of affogato. It is basically ice-cream with a shot of espresso poured over it, hence the name which means 'drowned' in Italian.

J has made a promise of hosting soon with a starter of an avocado and prawn salad with teriyaki salmon for main course........such hardship, I think I'll pass.......NOT!

Can't believe it's Thursday tomorrow, the week is whistling by :)
