Demand Democracy

The primary thrust seemed to be regarding veterans but there was also strong support for Ukraine and disbelief that we’re attacking Canada. 

Given the day, there were demands on signs and by speakers to the Democratic Senators to not vote for the continuing resolution. In the end, 10 of the Democratic Senators voted to allow the continuing resolution to move forward. Many of us are “deflated” now. The defense is that, if they allowed the government to shut down, Trump/Musk would have an easier time gutting the government. The problem with this logic is that they are already gutting the government. I recognize that I could be wrong about the wisdom of the move, but it feels like we can’t count on the Democrats.
