On the Strathspey Steam Railway

Taken standing on this crossing. We've been watching lots of trains chuffing up and down the line this weekend, in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Highland Mainline.

A five mile walk around Boat of Garten early evening, crossing the line after the last train had gone through. There is always that slight doubt of course, that I need to be quick in case someone suddenly shouts "look behind you"!

We also visited the RSPB Osprey Centre at Loch Garten today. We saw the adult male, Odin, but the two chicks have fledged and didn't return to the nest for food whilst we were there.
