Spring Walk

A visit to the coast was on my mind today, but a check of my weather apps saw me heading to Petworth Park instead.  This was probably a good call as it was breezy, a little chilly and prone to showers, of the icy hail kind, throughout the afternoon (who left their umbrella and raincoat in the car!)

At times the sky was quite dark, and you could see localised rain fall over the South Downs (extra 1), at other times we had lovely blue skies and even the deer came out to play (extra 2).

My main shot is one of the last of the day of daffodils and anemones lining the woodland walk path back to the car, and taken for Flower Friday.
