Super Saturday shopping

A trip to ASDA to get some essential supplies for watching the last day of the 6 Nations.

Good job I wasn’t in a hurry. Watched the shopper at the checkout scan all her items, place them on the shelf, then buy bags before packing everything and loading her trolley. 

Couldn’t help thinking there was at least a step too many. Couldn’t help thinking a chimp could do better.

Meanwhile an American (or Canadian, I suppose) behind me said, “hey buddy, those checkouts are free.” When I explained they were for baskets only, he looked at me like I was insane and wandered off. 

Hope the rugby is less frustrating.
