Indoor pursuits

..for the afternoon.

I had a very productive morning that began with an unexpected charge on my VISA Card that needed to be addressed. Yes..more waiting on hold, being transferred to another department, then put on hold again and then after having the situation solved and a profuse amount of apologies given, put on hold again while another department did the actual work of putting a credit onto my VISA card! Geez. 

With all that adrenaline flowing, I then tackled all those errands I had put off yesterday and spent the morning putting many more charges onto said VISA card! But what a relief..Those lists of things I needed to buy had been hanging around for weeks...

So, an afternoon of leisure...jigsaw, and lots of reading; I almost finished the book and am looking forward to the second in the trilogy...but not until after I have tackled that pile of library books on the coffee table patiently awaiting my attention.

PS: I successfully restricted my TV viewing today except for watching Mark Carney sworn in as our next Prime Minister...
