Libretto

A fine time in Glasgow. We'd stayed overnight at one of our daughter's near The West End so, as I was up early thanks to her and her flatmate's cat making his presence known by coming to nuzzle in on my pillow with me, I went out for a walk down to The Botanics and Byres Road before hopping the subway into town to go record shopping at Monorail.

And then returning on the subway to Great Western Road to meet up with family and partners and flatmates of family at Kothel for leisurely sandwiches and coffees and cakes and further coffees, ahead of catching the train back to Edinburgh.

Stopped in at the local multiplex on the way home from the station for a screening of 'Last Breath', I mean even though it's a true story they still made it quite formulaic altho' I have to admit I did find it pretty gripping.
