Walks

Since the weather forecast was excellent, and A had not taken the car, I drove over to Pilton with Django, picked up И and her A, and we all went to New Lanark. The day worked out very well. First we walked up to the Falls of Clyde and, although they were rather limited (see extra) the views and sunshine were still lovely. After that we had lunch at the "Mill Café", which was very dog-friendly. I then had a two-hour walk downstream, and then back through Lanark, leaving И and A to go round the exhibitions. They were impressed, and it's right up the list of places for them to take visitors. The combination of attractive countryside and buildings, the technology insights, and rich social history means that there's something for everyone.

Back home, I watched the second half of the England Vs Wales rugby match: "men against boyos"!

Scotland, could you do us a favour and beat France...?
