Walking Alpacas and Counting Swans

I knew I was going to have a good day when the sun shone through the window, and I remembered I had an alpaca walk ahead followed by a swan walk.
The alpaca walk was a birthday treat to myself, and is a lovely experience walking from Bonaly, into the hills a very little bit, and across Torduff Reservoir.  I had a very well behaved alpaca called Praline.  It was all super.
Next we picked up M and walked up to the canal and along to Craiglockhart Pond.  We are used to 4 swans at the pond, but today there were 9!   Where they have come from I do not know, but I do hope they stay a while.  The extra is of one of the swans all ready for the breeding season ahead.
