A very annoyed newt and newtlets

 I've spent a lot of time trying to clear some of the black silty stuff and leaves from the bottom of our pond, several disturbing two frogs (who weren't that bothered), a lot of dragonfly larvae (who shuffled around in the silt and had to be helped back into the water) and loads of newts and young newts who just glared at me and wriggled.  The water's much clearer now and I hope they appreciate it's all good for the long term.
