Spring

Spring really does seem to have arrived - despite wildly fluctuating but maily low temperatures. A delightful walk this morning along this fragrant whin lined section of the Formartine and Buchan  Way. There was lark song to accompany us. The object of the walk was to inspect a blackthorn hedge which was cut back brutally during the winter - in previous years it has been covered in delicate white stars of blossom. Today there was only the tiny,  but welcome, sprig which appears in the extra.
