Glimpses.....
... of Dartmoor appear every now & then on our walks around the heath. It would have been bitterly cold up there today, the wind was chilly down here, definately a hat & gloves day. The sun had some warmth to it when sheltered.
I nipped out to BT to pick up freshly baked croissants, & ham to provide lunch for hubby. He's not eaten much since being in hospital, but asked if I could make these for him today.
Mum was up & about when I arrived. She likes her new hairbrush so much, I just wish she would leave it in the bathroom. The TV remote is quite special too, that can be found everywhere bar near the TV. Hey ho!! We can both laugh about it.
Indie & I barely see a soul when we're walking... It's perfect. Plenty of birdsong this morning. We were back home by 10.30am.. My energy levels felt a bit low today so happy to sit & colour along with Mum & a coffee. She was chatting away, I was ad libbing, not knowing, who, where, or when., it did'nt seem to matter.
(I'm watching Michael Portillo in Portugal) I like his programmes, he's eating oysters... :-( I'm with the Portuguese I like fresh clams, garlic, olive oil. Maybe some crusty bread to soak up the juices.
Where was I?
Made lunch for Mum then off to the RD& E. The A38 was fairly quiet, the RD&E carpark quiet as well, parking easy today. Quiet on the ward, hubby not feeling great. I know, he's in hospital. I leave exhausted. Can't wait to get home... Peace.
