The new office

Back blip.

It's been a busy week.  My younger sister had risk reduction mastectomy and reconstruction on Wednesday.  She qualified for it because of me, my older sister, my mum and my grandma all having BC and she scored high on the risk assessment. She is doing really well.   

The surgery was done in East Grinstead hospital because they have a specialism in this surgery.  The hospital is about 1.5 hours from us so I took her on Wednesday and stayed in a hotel nearby to be close to visit her when she came out of recovery That evening.  

I had to be in London to interview a few candidates on Thursday and planned my route only to wake up to find all trains from East Grinstead were cancelled!  I managed to rearrange travel plans and made it to our new offices in Gresham Street which are very nice and shiny and a big improvement on the old office which was near Euston.  I'm happy to visit the office every couple of weeks but I couldn't do this commuting malarkey every day.
