Hellebore
I drove over to Norfolk this morning, arriving at friends after a lunchtime stop in Thetford. B & D live in a village south of Norwich and have an interesting garden, not least because B has the largest collection of snowdrops of anyone I know. Possibly more different 'drops than I have crocuses! A beautiful, if chilly, afternoon which passed all too quickly. I'll see the chaps again tomorrow as they're coming to my talk.
I moved on to circumnavigating Norwich as the sun fell low in the sky, watching the sunset just outside the western fringe of the city. Fast food and breakfast bought from a supermarket before I headed to an Air B&B for the night. News from Birmingham is that Ruth and Louise have had a fab day including an outing to a street market. Meg not missing me too much. Extra pic.
Above, one of many beautiful hellebores in the garden this afternoon.
