Whitework workshop

This is a work in progress ……
Not much, you may think, for a days workshop - satin stitching around 1 and three quarters of two squares.  But working white linen thread on white linen is very taxing for the eyes.  I even had my magnifying reading glasses as well as a lit magnifier to help!  
Extra of my friend’s work, she has been working on this for a while.  The open work is quite tricky (especially if you go wrong. 
Same work but different patterns.
Lovely to spend time with friends and catch up - we try not to talk too much as at lot of times you need to count tge stitches or do a stitch in a certain order (then you forget!), but we can’t help chatting about something and nothing.  

Good for your mental health - I’ve had a lovely wellbeing day.
