Friends and Neighbors Know Better

This sign doesn't sound very friendly but of course our friends and neighbors do know it doesn't apply to them -- and somewhat amazingly, most of my mother's closest neighbors are related to us.. That's pretty unusual in this day and age. The property belonged to my great-great grandfather and growing up ALL the neighbors were related. So many have gone now but there is a cousin right next door and one right across the road and several more here and there along the farm road.

In any case, I thought it was a kind of interesting picture. The purple paint is supposed to be a No Trespassing symbol for those who cannot read the sign. I added the Tungsten filter because it was looking more blue than it really is.

Mom has stopped taking the pain patch she had and is doing fine without it, although still very weak and tired. She needs to put on some weight and gain her strength back!
